Global Business Process Owner - SAP Operations

About the role

Moog is seeking a Global Business Process Owner for SAP Operations to lead the Business Modernization Program (BMP). The role is based onsite at the corporate headquarters in East Aurora, NY, and focuses on defining and governing global SAP processes across a 14,000‑person, 24‑country enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Define, approve, and maintain global process standards and policies for SAP ERP.
• Ensure ERP configurations align with the established global process requirements.
• Own and update process documentation, governance frameworks, and decision‑making authority for process conflicts.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts, data leads, and project teams to deliver a consistent, compliant process landscape.
• Approve exceptions, monitor compliance, and support continuous‑improvement initiatives throughout the BMP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing supply‑chain processes and ERP governance.
• Proven experience with continuous‑improvement methodologies, preferably Six Sigma.
• At least 3 years leading distributed or global teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
• Residency in the Buffalo, NY area for onsite work.
