Global Application Engineering Director – Electrical Markets

About the role

As the Global Application Engineering Director for the Electrical Markets Division, you will lead a worldwide team that creates scalable technical solutions for customers. You will work closely with R&D, product management, marketing, sales and operations to turn market needs into innovative applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the global Application Engineering organization for the Electrical Markets Division.
• Define and execute a global application engineering strategy aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify customer needs and develop scalable solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging laboratory application requirements to guide innovation.
• Oversee application development, product validation, demo protocols and technical performance optimization.
• Establish global processes, tools and best practices for application engineering.
• Build and maintain key customer relationships and support new product introductions.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high‑performing global team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (required).
• At least 10 years of experience in application engineering, laboratory technology, technical service or product development, including leadership roles.
• Proven ability to lead global technical teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and decision‑making skills.
