Genesys Cloud CX Engineer – Remote US

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Genesys Cloud CX Engineer to join its Engineering unit. The position can be performed from anywhere in the United States, including remote work, and supports the delivery of contact‑center solutions built on the Genesys Cloud platform.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements during the elicitation phase.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions for software solutions.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain new features and updates while ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories, and apply changes to the codebase.
• Design and execute test strategies, analyse results and coordinate bug‑fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production incidents and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities for knowledge‑base enrichment.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication abilities.
• Experience handling end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for design and hands‑on coding.
• Proactive approach to testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Contact Center IVR concepts.
• Cloud platform expertise (generic, applicable to Genesys Cloud).
• CRM analytics and functional knowledge.
• Experience with Genesys Cloud CX platform.
