Genesys Cloud Architect

About the role

The Genesys Cloud Architect will join Infosys' Engineering unit in Hartford, CT, focusing on designing and delivering innovative contact‑center solutions. The role sits within the Architecture Consultant 3 band and reports to the Senior Technology Architect team.

Key responsibilities

• Create business requirement documents covering functional and non‑functional needs gathered from workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Review, propose, and develop solution architectures that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
• Assess and recommend suitable technologies, tools, and platforms to meet business requirements.
• Design integration strategies for diverse technologies and systems to ensure seamless data flow.
• Resolve complex technical challenges during build, deployment, and support phases while promoting reusable frameworks.
• Provide specialized insights to development teams and build collaborative relationships with clients.
• Identify potential risks, monitor system performance, and suggest optimization initiatives.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base and contribute to proposals and RFP responses.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in solution architecture for contact‑center and telephony environments.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on risk identification and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills for client and internal stakeholder engagement.
