Generalist Physician Faculty – OBGYN

About the role

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati seeks qualified Generalist Physicians to join the faculty as Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor. The position is open to current UC employees and will be filled through an internal application process.

Key responsibilities

• Educate and train medical students, residents, and fellows in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Provide high‑quality clinical care to women and their pregnancies within the UC Health system.
• Conduct and publish scholarly research that advances the specialty.
• Participate in departmental service, collaboration, and mentorship activities.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of educational programs.

Required profile

• Current University of Cincinnati employee.
• Medical degree with board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research.
