General Production Associate – Heavy Lifting

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Springville, UT facility that produces Stouffer’s frozen meals. As a General Production associate you will support the manufacturing line on a 10‑hour rotating shift, ensuring product quality and steady flow.

Key responsibilities

• Check all issued ingredients for quality and quantity, follow recipes, label ingredients and complete paperwork.
• Prepare product for weighers and operators, weigh products as needed, and maintain adequate supply of ingredients, film and pictorials.
• Ensure proper rotation of ingredients, pans and v‑mags, and follow mid‑shift and end‑of‑shift procedures for food storage, WIP, housekeeping and documentation.
• Hand‑load, tape and stack cases, sort sub‑standard product, and monitor for foreign matter, reporting any issues to the Team Leader or QA.
• Keep prep‑weigher stations supplied to avoid line downtime and meet backup requirements within 30 days of hire.

Required profile

• Basic proficiency in English to understand and follow verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
• Ability and willingness to lift, bend, pull heavy commodities and equipment repeatedly during a 10‑hour shift.
• Basic computer data entry skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; 90 days of food manufacturing experience in a Nestlé factory preferred.
• Flexibility to work overtime and on either 1st or 2nd shift.
