General Manager - Restoration Construction

About the role

The General Manager will lead the San Francisco branch of a leading disaster restoration construction firm. This senior position oversees fire and water mitigation, cleaning, pack‑out, and full reconstruction projects while driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day operations across the region, ensuring high‑quality restoration services.
• Manage project execution from initial mitigation through final rebuild.
• Control the regional P&L, focusing on profitability, cash flow, and cost management.
• Develop and implement growth strategies to increase revenue year over year.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a high‑performing team of restoration professionals.
• Coordinate multiple operational plans simultaneously to achieve targets.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure service excellence and retention.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager, Regional Manager, or senior leader with responsibility for operations, P&L, sales, and team management.
• Track record of growing revenue in a consumer‑focused sales or operations environment.
• Experience providing sales leadership and driving business development.
• Strong financial acumen with hands‑on P&L and cost‑control experience.
• Open to candidates from outside the restoration industry, preferably with service‑related background.
