General Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

The General Manager will lead a high‑volume restaurant, ensuring profitability while delivering McDonald’s standards of quality, service and cleanliness. You will set strategic goals, develop your team and create an environment where both guests and employees thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Drive restaurant profitability and meet financial targets.
• Maintain McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Set and execute restaurant goals in partnership with senior leadership.
• Lead, coach, and develop Department Managers to achieve their departmental objectives.
• Oversee hiring, training, and development of Department and Shift Managers.
• Monitor operational performance and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a high‑volume quick‑service or hospitality environment.
• Strong background in restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and cost control.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to lead diverse teams with energy and purpose.

Required skills

• Experience with quick‑service restaurant operational standards.
• Knowledge of McDonald’s brand and service expectations.
