General Manager – Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead an independent McDonald’s franchise restaurant. The role involves overseeing all aspects of the operation to ensure profitability, high standards of quality, service and cleanliness, and a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Drive restaurant profitability and meet financial targets.
• Maintain McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service and Cleanliness.
• Set and execute restaurant goals in partnership with senior leadership.
• Lead, coach and develop Department Managers and Shift Managers.
• Oversee hiring, training, scheduling and performance management of staff.
• Monitor departmental performance and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and local regulations.

Required profile

• Proven General Manager experience in high‑volume quick‑service or hospitality environments.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
• Ability to set goals, analyze results and drive continuous improvement.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
