General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will lead a McDonald’s restaurant owned by an independent franchisee, ensuring profitability while delivering the brand’s high standards of quality, service and cleanliness. This role combines operational oversight with team leadership to drive performance and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations to achieve financial targets and maintain brand standards.
• Set and monitor goals with Department Managers, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, hiring, and employee development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food quality regulations.
• Control inventory, ordering, and waste to optimize cost efficiency.
• Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve revenue.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a fast‑food or restaurant operation.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet high service standards.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
