General Manager – Construction

About the role

The General Manager will lead a KOMAN subsidiary focused on construction, overseeing all aspects of the business to ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence, and financial success. This senior position is responsible for delivering high‑quality construction services to federal, Department of Defense, and commercial clients while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and set strategic direction for the subsidiary.
• Direct all business operations, including construction management, finance, staffing, and administration.
• Develop and execute business plans that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Lead business development efforts to acquire new federal and commercial contracts.
• Establish budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation while maintaining profitability.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high‑performing employees.
• Collaborate with corporate functions such as HR, Finance, Contracts, and Procurement.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and corporate policies.
• Represent the company with clients, government agencies, subcontractors, and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in construction or related industry.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale construction projects and delivering financial results.
