General Labor – Entry Level Operator

About the role

Join Graphic Packaging International’s West Monroe paper mill as an entry‑level operator. You will support production by assisting senior operators, making equipment adjustments, and keeping the facility clean and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and teammates.
• Operate mobile equipment and forklifts for cleanup and material handling.
• Monitor equipment, perform visual checks, and address jams or malfunctions.
• Assist crews during paper breaks, thread paper, and remove debris.
• Complete daily housekeeping and documentation as required by SOPs.
• Retrieve and distribute supplies from stores and monitor assembly quality.

Required profile

• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing practices and strong problem‑solving ability.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
