General Core Instructor – Business Faculty

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a full‑time Business Instructor to join the faculty at Georgia Piedmont Technical College. You will teach Business Management, Business Administration and introductory computer courses, delivering both theory and practical skills to prepare students for the business workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day and evening classes for Business Management, Business Administration and COMP 1000 courses.
• Develop, revise and evaluate curriculum in line with state standards.
• Advise students enrolled in Business programs and assist with textbook selection.
• Create instructional materials and support both online and traditional classroom settings.
• Collaborate with the Division Chair of Education & Business and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in Business Management or a related field.
• Completion of an online application with resume, unofficial transcripts and cover letter; official transcripts required within 60 days of hire.
• Preferred: MBA or Master’s in Business Education, experience teaching business concepts and software, Microsoft Office certification, and curriculum development experience.

• Salary range $55,000 – $60,000 per year, based on education and experience.
