General Construction Project Manager

About the role

The General Construction Project Manager will lead the delivery of complex commercial construction projects from concept through close‑out. Reporting to senior leadership, the role serves as the primary client liaison and ensures projects meet design specifications, budget constraints, and schedule targets while upholding the company’s high standards for safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Direct overall administrative and technical aspects of assigned construction projects.
• Enforce company and project policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain schedule integrity.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report financial performance.
• Serve as the main interface with clients, addressing concerns and providing regular updates.
• Oversee project insurance requirements and risk mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
• Completed OSHA 10‑hour training.
• Demonstrated ability to apply scheduling techniques and manage project timelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
