GED Exam/Test Administrator (Evening Shift)

About the role

The Testing Specialist / High School Equivalency Examiner administers GED and other approved assessments for adult learners. Working evening shifts, the role supports testing on campus and in correctional facilities while ensuring compliance with state and vendor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer GED and other approved examinations in accordance with testing regulations and security standards.
• Prepare testing rooms, computer workstations, and equipment before each session.
• Verify candidate identity, provide clear instructions, and answer questions while maintaining test integrity.
• Monitor examinees, detect misconduct, and report security violations.
• Maintain accurate testing records and secure testing materials.
• Provide accommodations for candidates with documented disabilities.
• Proctor GED testing in correctional facilities, adhering to facility security requirements.
• Attend required trainings and keep testing certifications current.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work evening shifts and travel to correctional facilities as needed.
