Gap Year STEM Educational Consultant

About the role

As a Gap Year STEM Educational Consultant at Cardinal Education, you will work full‑time for one to two years, providing one‑on‑one academic coaching and contributing to core business initiatives. This position is designed for recent graduates who plan to pursue graduate or professional school and want hands‑on experience in education, mentorship, and business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized academic mentorship in high‑school core subjects and standardized exams, helping students identify strengths and reduce stress.
• Complete comprehensive training to assess and address individual student needs.
• Participate in curriculum development and create partnership opportunities with educational professionals and local organizations.
• Manage client relationships, support recruitment efforts, and assist in the implementation of company policies.

Required profile

• Recent bachelor’s graduate intending to attend graduate or professional school after a gap year.
• Strong knowledge of high‑school core subjects; AP‑level science expertise is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible evenings and weekends and commit to at least one full school year.
• Experience in group projects and, preferably, tutoring or test‑prep work.
