Funeral Home Portal Account Manager

About the role

The Funeral Home Portal Account Manager will promote and sell LexisNexis Risk Solutions' VitalChek Funeral Home Portal to funeral homes, mortuaries, cremation providers and related organizations. You will work closely with state and local government agencies to drive portal adoption, educate funeral directors on electronic ordering, and grow transaction volume through ongoing engagement and training.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the Funeral Home Portal within assigned territories, building relationships with funeral directors, office managers and industry associations.
• Generate leads through agency contacts, association networks and market research; conduct outbound calls, emails and virtual meetings.
• Qualify opportunities, schedule and deliver product demonstrations, and support onboarding and adoption efforts.
• Train customers on ordering death certificates, burial permits and related services, and explain delivery, reporting and payment options.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, maintaining regular contact to encourage usage, identify expansion opportunities and address concerns.
• Monitor portal utilization and transaction growth, maintain accurate sales activity records and provide regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Strong relationship‑building and consultative selling skills.
• Experience in customer‑facing roles such as hospitality, retail or service.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.
