Full‑Time Teller – Customer Service & Cash Handling

About the role

Join Santander’s Weymouth branch as a full‑time Teller, providing essential banking services to customers while supporting the branch’s daily operations. You will be the first point of contact, delivering a high level of service and ensuring accurate transaction processing.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cash handling with precision.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and follow compliance and risk‑management protocols.
• Identify and refer product solutions, cross‑sell bank services, and educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Assist with custodial duties, audits, and other operational tasks.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to create a welcoming environment.
• Support nearby branch locations when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months of demonstrated customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
