Full‑Time Landscape Crewmember

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Landscape Crewmember to perform a variety of ground‑maintenance tasks on client properties. The role involves operating equipment, applying chemicals safely, and ensuring sites are kept clean and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as skid steers, excavators and backhoes to perform mowing, mulching, trimming and other landscape tasks.
• Apply weed‑control and other chemicals in compliance with licensing requirements and safety regulations.
• Load, unload and transport tools, supplies and equipment to and from job sites.
• Maintain equipment according to preventative‑maintenance schedules and keep work areas organized.
• Follow installation plans and instructions provided by the Crew Leader and Operations Manager.
• Report any site, equipment or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
• Assist in training new laborers and may transport crew members to sites.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in landscape installation or maintenance.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and follow site plans.
• Dependable, punctual, safety‑conscious and able to work independently.
• Effective communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Operation of skid steer, excavator and backhoe.
• Weed‑control chemical application with appropriate licensure.
• Landscape installation techniques.
• State Technician or Applicator license as required.
• Valid driver’s license.
