About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a reliable Full‑Time Forklift Operator to join its West Sacramento service center. You will work on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock moving freight safely in and out of trailers up to 53 feet long. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25.30 and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from enclosed trailers.
- Handle various types of freight, ensuring safe movement and proper placement.
- Read and follow manifests and shipping documents.
- Interact with computer displays to verify load information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on the dock.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable with the capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume, LTL setting.
