About the role

Georgia Piedmont Technical College is seeking a full‑time Adjunct English Instructor to teach undergraduate English courses in a hybrid format, combining on‑site sessions at the Dekalb Campus with remote instruction.

Key responsibilities

Develop and deliver lesson plans for lecture and laboratory activities.
Teach adult learners and high‑school students enrolled in college‑level English courses.
Assess student performance, maintain grade books and related records.
Follow approved course syllabi and complete required documentation promptly.
Manage inventory of assigned instructional materials.

Required profile

Master’s degree in English (or related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in English).
Strong computer and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including day, evening, distance‑learning, and multiple campus assignments.
Experience interacting with a diverse student population.

Required skills

Computer proficiency (general).
