Full‑Stack PHP Developer – Web Platforms

About the role

This position joins a team that maintains and expands high‑traffic legal‑help websites for consumers and businesses across the United States. The role is hands‑on, focused on delivering quality code and offers strong opportunities for technical and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, estimate and implement new features for the platform.
• Architect new applications and extend existing ones.
• Collaborate on enterprise architecture with other Internet Brands teams.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.
• Participate in software design discussions, sprint planning and other project meetings.
• Ensure production code meets high‑quality standards and scales to demand.
• Identify and close gaps in system reliability, including monitoring and deployment processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of object‑oriented PHP development.
• 1‑2 years of front‑end experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries and designing database schemas.
• Proficiency with MVC frameworks such as Laravel or Yii.
• Familiarity with modern server components (Memcache, Redis, ActiveMQ, Solr).
• Experience using collaborative tools like JIRA and Git.
• Stable work history and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
