Full-Time Warehouse Operator

About the role

Join 3M's Distribution Center in DeKalb, IL as a Full‑Time Warehouse Operator. You will work on the 2nd or 3rd shift, handling product assembly, packaging, and order preparation while collaborating with innovative colleagues worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and work at various machines or workstations to assemble products, package finished goods, and inspect quality.
• Use computer systems for process monitoring, data entry, inventory transactions, and order processing.
• Follow established operating procedures, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
• Fill, process, pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders and finished goods for shipment.
• Inspect products and orders for accuracy, identifying damaged, missing, or non‑conforming items while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, extended hours, and holidays as needed.
• May be required to complete 3M‑selected testing.
• Desired: minimum one year of warehouse operations experience, strong attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
