About the role
Santander is seeking a Full‑Time Teller to join its Washington Park branch in Roxbury, MA. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service while handling cash and transaction processing.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with banking needs.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
- Adhere to bank policies, compliance, and risk‑management protocols to prevent fraud.
- Identify cross‑selling opportunities and refer appropriate product solutions.
- Educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
- Support custodial duties, audits, and other operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist nearby branches as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 months cash‑handling experience.
- Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
