Full-Time Teller – Route 70 Branch

About the role

Join Santander’s Route 70 branch in Lakewood as a Full‑Time Teller. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering fast, accurate, and friendly banking services while supporting the branch’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and address their banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, maintain cash‑drawer balances, and perform end‑of‑day reconciliations.
• Follow all bank policies, compliance, and risk‑management procedures to prevent fraud.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer customers to appropriate products.
• Educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Assist with custodial duties, audits, and other operational tasks.
• Keep the work area clean and organized; support nearby branches when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• At least 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to recognize and escalate risk, follow policies, and maintain attention to detail.
• Comfortable using digital tools and technology.
• Flexible to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
