Full-Time Teller – Rockdale Branch

About the role

Join Santander’s Rockdale branch in New Bedford as a Full‑Time Teller. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service while handling daily banking transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking needs.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and handle cash securely.
• Follow all bank policies, compliance, and risk‑management procedures to prevent fraud.
• Identify opportunities to cross‑sell products and refer customers to appropriate solutions.
• Educate customers on digital self‑service tools and promote their use.
• Support custodial duties, audits, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to create a welcoming environment.
• Assist nearby branch locations when business needs arise.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• At least 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months of customer‑service experience.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy.
