Full-Time Teller – Customer Service & Cash Handling

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Teller to join our Watertown branch. In this customer-focused position you will handle daily cash transactions, provide banking services and support the branch’s operational needs while delivering a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, minimize wait times and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other banking transactions.
• Handle cash accurately, maintain the cash drawer and reconcile balances at the end of each shift.
• Follow all bank policies, compliance and risk-management procedures to prevent fraud.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and refer customers to appropriate solutions.
• Educate customers on digital self-service tools and promote their use.
• Support custodial duties, audits and other operational tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and may assist nearby branches when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months cash-handling experience.
• At least 6 months customer-service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow directions, policies and procedures.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Willingness to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fundamental math skills for cash handling.
