Full-Time Teller – Covered Bridge Branch

About the role

Santander is seeking a friendly and reliable Full‑Time Teller for its Covered Bridge branch in Manalapan, NJ. In this customer‑focused position you will be the first point of contact for banking clients, helping them with everyday transactions while delivering a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, minimize wait times and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other banking needs.
• Handle cash accurately, maintain cash‑drawer balances and follow all compliance and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify and refer customers to appropriate bank products, cross‑selling to deepen relationships.
• Use digital tools to educate customers on self‑service options and resolve routine issues.
• Support custodial duties, audits and other operational tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and may assist nearby branches when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months of demonstrated customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to follow policies.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Willingness to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
