About the role

Santander is seeking a full‑time Teller to join its Chelmsford Center in Massachusetts. In this customer‑focused position you will handle daily banking transactions, provide exceptional service, and help protect the branch from fraud and risk.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking needs.
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain balanced cash drawers.
  • Follow all bank policies, compliance, and risk‑management procedures.
  • Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer appropriate product solutions.
  • Educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
  • Support custodial duties, audits, and other operational tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and may assist nearby branches as needed.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
  • At least 6 months of customer‑service experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
