Full-Time Store Supervisor – Bethesda, MD

About the role

The store is looking for a full-time Supervisor to lead daily operations in Bethesda, MD. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will act as manager on duty, ensuring smooth opening and closing, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the store, handling cash and overseeing all monetary transactions.
• Process shipments, set the sales floor, manage markdowns and replenish inventory according to company standards.
• Coach and supervise the sales team, maintaining a strong selling culture and high service levels.
• Address customer concerns, working with the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager to resolve escalated issues.
• Monitor performance metrics such as conversion, units per transaction and sales per hour, and develop strategies to meet targets.
• Support onboarding and training of new hires.
• Foster an inclusive, diverse work environment and collaborate on community-focused events.

Required profile

• Proven retail leadership experience with a track record of supervising, coaching and training staff.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while juggling multiple tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset that aligns with company values of inclusion and belonging.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb and perform all essential job functions.
