Full-Time Pre-Clerk (Entry-Level)

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a Full‑Time Pre‑Clerk to join its Kansas City Service Center. The position offers a starting wage of $18.76 per hour, a one‑week vacation after 90 days, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls on a multi‑line phone system and redirect them to the appropriate contacts.
• Perform data entry and process driver paperwork.
• Assist dispatchers with routine tasks.
• Carry out additional duties as requested by management.

Required profile

• Ability to multitask with a sense of urgency.
• Typing speed of at least 30 WPM with accuracy.
• Dependable, well‑organized, and computer literate.
• Strong office, telephone, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and other Microsoft products.
• Preferred: 2+ years of clerk experience in a fast‑pace environment and freight logistics experience.
