Full-time On-site Pharmacist

About the role

North Falmouth Pharmacy is seeking a full-time, on-site Pharmacist to join its team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The pharmacist will dispense medications, verify orders, and provide counseling while supporting long-term care, assisted-living, and school-based medication programs.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications and verify accuracy and safety of orders.
• Review patient profiles and collaborate with prescribers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support long-term care, assisted-living, memory-care, and school medication programs.
• Oversee medication packaging, delivery processes, and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality-improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree with an active pharmacist license (or eligibility) in the applicable state.
• Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including medication therapy management, drug interactions, and dosing for diverse populations.
• Experience in long-term care, assisted-living, or institutional pharmacy settings preferred.
• Ability to work on-site full-time, manage workload in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and eMAR or other electronic medication administration records.
• Accurate prescription processing and medication packaging.
• Patient and caregiver counseling and education.
