Full-Time Nurse

About the role

Keio Academy of New York is seeking a dedicated Full‑Time Nurse to join its health center on the Purchase campus. The role begins on August 21, 2026 and supports the health and well‑being of students, faculty, and staff throughout the academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Administer first aid, manage medications, and provide medical treatments as needed.
• Maintain accurate student health records in compliance with New York State law and HIPAA.
• Chaperone students to and from external medical facilities and coordinate care with outside providers.
• Assist the school doctor with physical examinations, vaccinations, diagnostic tests, and health screenings.
• Communicate health information to parents, the school doctor, and relevant personnel.
• Perform on‑call shifts 3‑4 times per week during the school session.
• Complete additional administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Valid New York State RN license or a transferable RN license from another state.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
• Ability to work cooperatively with health‑center staff, school doctors, faculty, and senior management.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English.
