Full-Time Middle School Teacher (Grades 6‑8)

About the role

Valiant College Preparatory is seeking a dedicated full‑time Middle School Teacher to join our on‑site team in Phoenix, AZ. You will work with students in grades 6‑8, delivering engaging, standards‑aligned instruction while supporting our academic and athletic mission.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver age‑appropriate lessons that align with the school curriculum.
• Manage classroom routines, assess student progress, and provide timely feedback.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles and backgrounds.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to promote student achievement and well‑being.
• Maintain accurate records and integrate appropriate technology into instruction.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and athletic initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in lesson planning and curriculum development for middle‑school learners.
• Proven classroom teaching experience with strong instructional and classroom‑management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; valid teaching certification or eligibility preferred.
• Commitment to academic excellence, character development, and a positive learning environment.
