Full-Time HVAC Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join the Facilities and Operations Division at Atlanta Technical College to ensure the campus’s HVAC, boiler, electrical, plumbing, and building systems run smoothly. This full‑time position supports daily campus operations and contributes to renovation and event projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment, boilers, and building furnishings.
• Conduct daily rounds of critical equipment, report issues, and adjust thermostats, control panels, and sensors.
• Assist with renovation projects, equipment and vehicle maintenance, and event set‑ups.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and plumbing systems, as well as carpentry and landscaping tasks.
• Coordinate work of custodial staff, respond to emergency repair requests, and maintain accurate logs and records.

Required profile

• Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance tools, equipment, and safety policies.
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC system maintenance and repair.
• Ability to operate computers and job‑related software programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with staff and the public.
