About the role
Kaneland High School is seeking a full‑time French Teacher to join its faculty for the 2026‑2027 school year. The position is benefits‑eligible, offering medical, dental, vision, life insurance and pension coverage. Salary details are outlined in the KEA Contract (page 55).
Key responsibilities
- Provide French language instruction to high‑school students in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans that support language acquisition and cultural understanding.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
Required profile
- Hold appropriate teaching credentials for secondary education.
- Demonstrated ability to teach French at the high‑school level.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment.
