Full-Time Forklift Operator – Tonawanda, NY

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking full‑time Forklift Operators for its Tonawanda, NY service center. You will safely move a variety of freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, working on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers.
• Handle freight safely and efficiently on a fast‑paced dock.
• Read and follow manifests and computer displays to ensure accurate shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to thrive in a fast‑pace environment.
• Previous forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Some LTL (less‑than‑truckload) experience is a plus.
