Full-Time Forklift Operator – Shreveport

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a full‑time Forklift Operator to join its Shreveport, LA service center. You will safely move a variety of freight in and out of enclosed trailers on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trailers up to 53 feet long.
• Transport freight safely within the dock area.
• Read and follow manifests and computer‑based instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Basic literacy to read manifests and interact with a computer display.
