Full-Time Forklift Operator – Norwalk, OH

About the role

Join R+L Carriers as a Full-Time Forklift Operator working the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday. You will safely move various freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53' long on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers.
• Move freight safely within the dock area.
• Read and follow manifests to ensure accurate handling.
• Interact with computer displays for tracking and documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Proficiency in reading manifests.
• Comfort with computer display interaction.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a fast‑paced setting.
• Dependable and able to work efficiently in a high‑tempo environment.
• Experience with LTL (Less‑Than‑Truckload) operations is a plus.
