Full-Time Forklift Operator – Janesville, WI

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Forklift Operator for our Janesville, WI service center. The role works the 2nd shift, Monday‑Friday, and involves moving freight safely in and out of trailers on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock. You will operate a forklift, read manifests, and use computer displays to track shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
• Handle freight on a roofed dock while adhering to safety procedures.
• Read and follow manifests and interact with computer displays to track shipments.
• Assist with less‑than‑truckload (LTL) shipments as needed.
• Maintain forklift equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Required profile

• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Basic familiarity with LTL operations is a plus.
• Ability to read manifests and use computer displays.
