Full-Time Esthetics Instructor – Evening Classes

About the role

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is seeking a full‑time Esthetics Instructor to teach afternoon and evening courses. The position supports a diverse student body and contributes to the college’s mission of equity and excellence in vocational education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instruction for Esthetics courses using effective teaching techniques.
• Maintain course syllabus, grading procedures, and accurate grade books.
• Order supplies, manage inventory, and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Prepare and submit reports, records, and invoices in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support underrepresented and disabled students.

Required profile

• Current, unencumbered Esthetics License in Georgia or Master Cosmetologist License.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in the field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.

Required skills

• Proficiency in classroom instruction and curriculum delivery.
• Inventory management and product ordering.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation protocols for cosmetology labs.
