Full-Time Dishwasher

About the role

Experience Senior Living is looking for a full-time Dishwasher to join its culinary team in Fort Collins. The team works with residents, their families and team members to make a positive impact on their lives. The dishwasher works closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment according to policy and procedures, and keep the dish room neat and clean.
• Keep kitchen floors clean (sweep and mop) and empty the trash.
• Check the dish machine at the start of each shift for chemicals and refill as needed.
• Maintain the dish machine after each meal, keeping sanitizing temperatures and ppm levels correct, and record temperature and sanitation levels in the logs before each meal.
• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and attend the pre-meal stand-up in the kitchen.
• Assist with transporting and storing food and supplies, and help cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Help prepare and run special events, banquets and theme meals.
• Perform other duties as needed and accept direction from supervisors.

Required profile

• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Able to handle multiple jobs and priorities and to give and welcome feedback.
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays.
