Full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

About the role

Join Fairbanks Memorial Hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska as a full‑time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. You will provide anesthesia services across a broad caseload in a supportive rural health system, working with a team of anesthesiologists and fellow CRNAs.

Key responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia for surgeries including general, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, podiatry, pediatric and GI procedures.
• Manage out‑of‑OR assignments such as obstetric and gastrointestinal cases.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists for physician oversight and ensure patient safety throughout the peri‑operative period.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
• Participate in a 3‑weeks‑on, 2‑weeks‑off schedule with 12‑hour shifts, often finishing early in the day.

Required profile

• Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license and certification.
• Willingness to work full‑time on a 3‑weeks‑on, 2‑weeks‑off rotation.
• Ability to perform 12‑hour shifts in an onsite hospital setting.
• Experience in a community or rural hospital environment is preferred.
