Full-Time Central Sterile Technician

About the role

The Central Sterile Technician supports Kingman Healthcare’s mission to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care by ensuring that all surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are properly cleaned, assembled, sterilized, and ready for use. This full‑time position works within the Central Sterile Supply department under the direction of the Central Sterile Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process, and inventory incoming supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Perform cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Prepare and package supplies, linens, and instruments for distribution to surgical areas.
• Issue and distribute supplies, instruments, and equipment according to established levels.
• Maintain required records, statistics, and weekly quality‑assurance reports.
• Keep assigned work areas clean and assist with additional areas as directed.
• Attend surgery department meetings or in‑services when required.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in Central Sterile processing or as a Surgical Technologist.
• CRCST certification required for employees seeking advanced‑pay designation.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work without direct supervision.
• Effective communication skills and ability to lift 50‑75 lb (combined lift of 150 lb).
