Full-Time Behavior Technician (BHT) – Harrisburg

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Behavior Technician (BHT) to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. In this full-time position you will work one-to-one with children and adolescents in clinic, home, or school settings, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.

Key responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans to improve communication, social, and independent living skills.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on client progress.
• Assist clients with daily activities and therapeutic exercises.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support.
• Transport between service locations and manage client program materials.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably 6 months experience working with children or adolescents with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication abilities and calm demeanor in challenging situations.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally (≈20% of time).
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lb and perform walking, bending, and other routine activities.

Required skills

• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation.
