Full-Stack Software Engineer – AI‑Native EV Marketplace

About the role

Plug is an automotive fintech startup building a marketplace exclusively for electric vehicles. As a Full‑Stack Software Engineer you will join a fast‑growing AI‑native team in Los Angeles, working onsite in Santa Monica to develop core product features that power the used‑EV wholesale market.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own full‑stack features and components for the Plug platform.
• Collaborate with senior software engineers on architecture, scope, and cross‑system trade‑offs.
• Build AI‑powered pricing intelligence, real‑time connectivity to vehicle manufacturer APIs, auction applications, and data pipelines aggregating EV‑specific information.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through best practices and thorough testing.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement of development processes.
