Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

You will build features end‑to‑end for Sapien's core platform, taking ideas from design through frontend implementation, backend APIs, database changes, and agent integration. The role balances shipping new capabilities with keeping the platform stable and performant, and involves direct interaction with customers to iterate based on real feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Build features that make Sapien a daily driver for finance and operations teams.
• Design experiences that proactively surface insights and catch issues before they become problems.
• Design interfaces that make complex agent operations understandable for non‑technical users.
• Implement human‑in‑the‑loop systems allowing users to give feedback, correct agent mistakes, and teach the system.
• Build feedback loops that improve agent intelligence over time.
• Make product and technical decisions on UI, database schema, and technology stack.

Required profile

• Comfort with modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, Python, SQL and common backend frameworks.
• Product mindset – focus on user experience and iterate based on usage data.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, turning rough problem statements into concrete solutions.
• CS degree or equivalent experience, with a strong portfolio of built features.
