Full Stack Engineer

About the role

MDG Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain web applications and content‑managed sites for a portfolio of multi‑location clients. The role works across the entire technology stack, from responsive front‑end interfaces to back‑end services, databases, and infrastructure, using both in‑house platforms and client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications and CMS‑driven websites.
• Implement server‑side logic, RESTful APIs, and integrate third‑party services with a focus on security and data integrity.
• Write and maintain automated tests, conduct code reviews, and keep codebases well documented.
• Modernize and support both MDG platforms and client‑owned environments across varied technology stacks.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools daily, reviewing and validating all generated output.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across the stack, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional software development experience; senior‑level experience preferred.
• Strong full‑stack capability with solid front‑end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern framework).
• Hands‑on experience with server‑side technologies, preferably modern PHP and Laravel.
• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, relational databases, REST APIs, Git, automated testing, and secure coding.
• Proven fluency with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude suite, Claude Code) and the discipline to verify all output.
