Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

Sierra is looking for a senior Frontend Software Engineer to own the user experience across its core product and marketing sites. You will work closely with designers and product managers to deliver polished, high‑performance interfaces that reflect the company’s brand and values.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the web application and customer‑facing pages, ensuring a cohesive and polished UI.
• Design, build, and evolve a scalable design system and reusable component library.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel‑perfect React components, handling typography, spacing, motion and interactions.
• Champion performance, accessibility, and internationalisation across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate features via GraphQL APIs and occasionally contribute Go/gqlgen code.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience shipping production‑grade web interfaces with React and TypeScript.
• Strong eye for design detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with designers and product managers.
• Self‑motivated, able to own projects and deliver quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Pragmatic problem‑solver who balances speed with long‑term quality.
