Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

Pi is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to help shape the user experience of its agentic product security platform. You will translate complex security workflows into fast, intuitive, and trustworthy web interfaces that empower engineering and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production‑grade frontend features using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Create responsive, accessible, and polished user experiences for security and developer workflows.
• Build product surfaces such as findings dashboards, investigation panels, remediation forms, tables, filters, and detail views.
• Leverage React Server Components and modern routing to deliver performant, maintainable experiences.
• Design reusable UI patterns with Tailwind CSS, design tokens, and accessible component primitives.
• Integrate frontend with type‑safe client/server data access and modern query management.
• Manage UI, application, and URL state in a clean, predictable manner.
• Implement robust forms, validation flows, and complex data‑heavy tables.
• Use component development, visual regression, and frontend testing tools to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and security experts to turn ambiguous needs into simple workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and raise the quality bar for architecture, testing, and accessibility.

Required profile

• 3 to 6 years of professional software engineering experience focused on frontend development.
• Strong passion for product quality, interaction design, and building polished interfaces for technical products.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
